Frank Callocchia - Frank C. Callocchia is a local attorney and a member of Callocchia Law Firm, PLLC. He has been a member of the Delaware Soccer Club Board of Directors since 2016. He holds a USSF “D” Coaching License and has been involved as a volunteer coach with DSC for several years. He has played and coached soccer at the youth and amateur club level as well as the collegiate level. Mr. Callocchia presently chairs the DSC adult soccer programs committee, which runs an adult in-house winter indoor league and DSC Buffalo (the Delaware Soccer Club’s men’s amateur BDSL team).
Brendon Dickman - Brendon Dickman began playing for the Delaware Soccer Club in elementary school and played for the club through high school. He currently resides in Snyder, NY with his wife and two children, both of whom play for DSC. He is currently in his sixth year coaching for DSC and is looking forward to helping the club grow and thrive moving forward.
Pat Pidgeon - Pat Pidgeon is a Research Associate at Via Evaluation. A 2011 graduate of SUNY Cortland, Pidgeon was a goalkeeper for the men's varsity soccer program before serving as the program's assistant coach from 2012-2015. Pidgeon also serves on the Erie County Youth Board and has coached for FC Buffalo, New York State West ODP, D'Youville Men's Soccer, and Buffalo Soccer Club.
Jaime Salcedo - Jaime Salcedo is a current auditor with Deloitte & Touche LLP. Prior to his career at Deloitte, Jaime graduated with a master’s degree in accounting from Medaille College in 2016, where he also played on the varsity soccer team for 4 years. As a native soccer player from Akron, NY, Jaime joins our board in the hopes of further advancing DSC and the game of soccer within the Western New York Region.
Rich Scherer, Jr. - Rich Scherer Jr. is a partner at the law firm of Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP where he concentrates his practice on commercial litigation and general business counseling. Rich and his wife Megan reside in North Buffalo with their son Richie, who plays U4 house with DSC.
John Cunningham - John Cunningham has a 30 year history with DSC as a player, parent, coach and travel director. He is a Systems Manager with M&T Bank; and lives in North Buffalo with his son, who plays for Delaware Soccer Club.
Manager of Delaware Soccer Club: Bret Stothart - Stothart joined DSC in 2017, bringing an M.B.A. in Strategic Management from Niagara University and a Sport Management Bachelor's degree from Springfield College. His prior experience includes serving as Director of Communication and Media Services for the American Hockey League headquarters, and multiple positions at the university level, including Head Coach, Intramural Director, Sports Information Director, Equipment Manager and Health and Physical Education Instructor. He currently resides in Buffalo with his wife Natalie and two young sons, Ben and Jack.
Director of Coaching: Brendan Murphy - Murphy brings a wealth of soccer experience with him to DSC, including Director of Coaching at both Amherst Soccer Club and Orchard Park Soccer Club. He is the Head Coach at D'Youville College with Goalkeeper/Assistant Coaching experience in Division I with Niagara University and the University at Buffalo. He also served as Head Coach of FC Buffalo and Goalkeeper Coach for the Rochester Rhinos. Murphy currently lives in Williamsville with his wife, Jessica, and two children, Nora and Lincoln.
Technical Director: Asani Samuels - Samuels' background includes four years of Division I soccer, including three Regional All-American Honors and the Canisius Male Athlete of the Year Award. He competed for multiple years of professional soccer, earning the USL Finals MVP Award after leading the Rochester Rhinos to the 2015 USL Championship. He has coached many different levels at various clubs and has been a valuable presence on the DSC sidelines for more than five years.
Director of Programming: Rey Martinez - Martinez brings to DSC 16 years of professional soccer experience. The Cuba native competed for the Cuban National Team for three years before signing with the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. He later competed in the United Soccer League appearing in 60 games for the Rochester Rhinos and five with the Carolina RailHawks. He went on to compete professionally indoors for nearly 10 years and also served as Assistant Coach for the Rochester Lancers of the National Premier Soccer League. Martinez also currently serves as Assistant Coach for the D'Youville College Men and Women's soccer teams.
